With BBVA as major sponsor and with the Centro de Alto Rendimiento Deportivo de Coldeportes as venue for 2011, the tournament will celebrate its 19th consecutive edition.

The new edition of the XX Copa BBVA-Colsanitas, tournament level International of the Sony Ericsson-WTA Tour, will once more gather tennis fans in Colombia.

The most traditional women's tournament in Latin America, described by the Women Tennis Association as one of the best in its category is about to start.

The colombian audience is once more ready to support the local young players Mariana Duque andCatalina Castaño in their attempt to advance in this big tournament.

For an entire week, the “Centro de Alto Rendimiento Deportivo de Coldeportes” will be the venue for the white sport's and social party. This year the Copa BBVA-Colsanitas will award the champion 280 points and gather 32 players in the main draw, and 32 players in the qualifying stage.
